Jette came to the Netherlands in 1997 where she studied dance and arts policy & management. Before she joined the SMart project, she was assistant artistic director for Danslateliers (a laboratory for young dance artists in Rotterdam), was co-founder and manager of the artists driven research platform Danslab in The Hague, and co-initiator of the concept Network For Choreography & Related Art.
